History
In 1997, QCBill's predecessor, bestshell.com, was established in Montreal, Canada. For the next three years the company offered shell hosting services and payment solutions in conjunction with other billing companies. In 2000, bestshell.com was acquired by Mirweb Solutions Inc. a fast growing web hosting company, providing the secure high-performance infrastructure that was holding bestshell.com growth. The company continued to grow - establishing itself as one of the best web hosting company in Canada, setting sales records, enhancing services and expanding e-commerce solutions. In 2004, Mirweb started to do telephone billing and developped Solutions900.ca's backend. QcBill project was created in late 2005 and should be fully operational before 2007.
